Following his path full circle.

Strib Stribling was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia surrounded by dogs, fly rods, and shotguns. Outdoor adventure was in his blood from the very beginning — before he was born, his grandfather organized fishing trips with friends to Alaska’s backcountry. He even helped found The Atlanta Tarpon Club, where his son, Strib’s father, caught the “big fish” in 1963.

As a child, Strib and his dad would trek endless miles through the Georgia countryside searching for quail and stomping through the rivers and creeks of North Georgia hoping to catch native brook trout. In college, he would set off with friends to fish for bass or hunt ducks as soon as classes ended for the day. After college, he followed his passion for outdoor adventure and moved to Colorado, where he lived out of his truck for three months before landing in Vail, where he became a ski bum and fishing guide. During these formative years, his love for the outdoors only grew stronger with time.

Strib ultimately returned home to Atlanta and began his career in commercial real estate and fundraising in the Christian non-profit sector. Later, he worked in sales in the healthcare industry — his final stint in corporate America — before finally acquiescing to the way he was created, returning to the path he believes the Lord laid out for him.

Today, things have come full circle for Strib. He is the founder and lead guide at Stribling & Company, where he again finds himself surrounded by dogs, fly rods, and shotguns. He moved with his lovely wife Jennifer and their four children, Strib, Demi, Josie, and Win, to Lookout Mountain, Tennessee to “get off the grid” and slow things down a little. They have not looked back since.
